Arch Rock Fish Design-builder – Wilco Group
Santa Barbara’s newest destination “fish joint” opened in September ’10. Features include private arched dining areas, polished concrete floors and wine room in the bar.
Olive Garden PM & GC – James Wilson
“Revitalia” remodeling of existing restaurants. 30 + locations project managed & contracted (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, California). Three different prototypes featured travertine tile, real & faux stone finishes & antiqued paint.
The Melting Pot GC – Wilco Group
Successful fine dining chain opened in Santa Barbara in December ’08. Features include granite tables & bar, custom bottle lights, extensive dark wood paneling & millwork
Levi Strauss Signature Stores CM & GC – Wilco Group
Prototype clothing stores in Colma & Roseville CA.
Center for Corrective Jaw Surgery Design-Build – Wilco Group
Freestanding medical center in Santa Barbara received 3 phases of renovation – 1 - Exterior structural repairs & stucco, new steel staircases, new tile & roof 2 – Interior remodel of 9 patient rooms, reception & office millwork, carpet & finishes 3 – X-ray room, equipment & dental laboratory.

Men’s clothing boutiques in Malibu, CA, featured slate floors, corrugated & stamped metal finishes & custom millwork & racking.

Johansson House Pacific Palisades, California
Artist’s Retreat Interior Designer – Sheri Mize, GC – Wilco Group
Artist’s Retreat, a renovation & reinterpretation of the late Ray Strong’s home & studio, is the feature in Santa Barbara SEASONS winter ‘09-10 issue. Both the interior and exterior of the compound is full of rustic detailing such as antique Mexican doors & gates, reclaimed beams & lumber, and reclaimed brick & stone from the site. To this was added conserving features like tankless water heaters, reflective metal roofing & drought-resistant planting.
Kaplan Residence
Kaplan residence, a complete ground-up 4600 sf remodel in Beverly Hills, was designed in a blend of traditional elegance & classic “Hollywood Glam”, reminiscent of Los Angeles’ finest homes in the 30’s and 40’s. The custom woodworking of doors, moldings, floors & casework was a cornucopia of exotic woods – black walnut, rosewood, zebrawood, ebony & birdseye maple. Each of the 3 fireplaces was faced with a different stone – English limestone, Italian calacatta marble & black granite. Nearly 100,000 bricks were used for the hardscape and summerhouse at the renovated poolside.

Wilco Millwork & Fixtures division provides design, fabrication & installation of quality fixtures and casework.
Restaurant Millwork & Fixtures
require “bullet-proof” construction to stand up to everyday abuse and constant cleaning. Wilco adheres to the highest industry standards (WIC) and builds counters, cabinets, tables & architectural millwork to perform as beautifully as it looks.
Wine Rooms & Cabinets
are a Wilco specialty and our work has appeared in ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST & WINE CONNOISSEUR magazines. In addition to our experience and craftsmanship with these type of fixtures, we are also HVAC (C20) contractors so we design & install the climate control systems in our own work.
Fine Furniture & Residential Pieces
are designed and crafted to meet lifestyle and architectural requisites. We work with rare & exotic woods, antique, rustic & reclaimed lumber and are experts in specifying sustainable & renewable wood & surface products.
